If you need a quick and easy Christmas Cookie/Treat recipe, these chocolate Crossies are super quick to make, are made of TWO ingredients, and require zero baking.
They aren’t traditional cookies but I remember making these all the time when growing up. They are sweet, a bit crunchy, and perfect to bring to a family gathering or to keep in the cookie jar.
This post is all about a two-ingredient Christmas Cookie
The EASIEST Christmas Cookies To Make With Kids
What you need:
- 200 g Corn Flakes
- 2 Cups of your chocolate of choice (dark, white, or milk) or try all three
Directions to make Chocolate Crossies:
- Lay a baking sheet inside a baking tray.
2. Melt the chocolate either in the microwave or over a hot water bath (that’s what I did). It takes less than 5 minutes to melt it over hot water.
This is what it should look like after a few minutes.
3. Pour all of the Cornflakes into the melted Chocolate and mix to cover all Cornflakes evenly with Chocolate.
4. Using a Tablespoon, spread them on the baking sheet into little balls and let them sit and harden for 2 hours.
That’s it! The easiest Christmas Cookies you can make with your kids, without all the mess. My kids love making these easy treats and of course, love eating them as well. They are usually gone before I can even store them in my cookie jar.
