If you are looking for an easy Christmas Tree Craft for Preschoolers, these Paper Plate Trees are a fun and cute craft idea for the Holidays.
We are huge fans of Paper Plate crafts over here. I always have some plain white ones on hand and my kids grab them whenever they work on a craft. Today we decided to kick off our Holiday crafts with a Paper Plate Christmas Tree Craft. You don’t need to buy a ton of supplies and can use whatever you already have on hand.
This post is all about an easy Christmas Tree craft for Preschoolers.
Christmas Tree Craft for Preschoolers
What you need:
- Acrylic Paint
- White Paper Plates
- Wooden Craft Stick
- Glue
- Scissors
- Sequins, glitter, anything sparkly…
Start off by painting the paper plate green. Then let it dry before cutting it.
Once the paint has completely dried up, cut the Paper Plate into three even pieces.
Glue all three pieces together and glue the wooden craft stick to the last paper pate piece.
We used Elmers Glue to glue all three pieces together, but I suggest adding some tape if it doesn’t hold up. Now is also the time, to add the wooden stick to the back. You could also use brown paper instead for the tree stump.
Now to the fun part, decorating the tree! Like I mentioned earlier, you can use whatever you would like and have on hand. My daughter was a huge fan of the glittery Pom Poms and sequins. I added glue for her and she enjoyed adding the different decorations to it. You could also cut out a star shape and add it as a tree topper.
Wasn’t this such a fun and easy Christmas Craft?! My kids had a ton of fun making these Paper Plate Christmas Trees.
