Looking for an easy and fun Father’s Day craft you can do with your toddler? This easy craft will be fun for your toddler to make and will make Dad very happy.
Father’s Day is just around the corner and a great reason to do a little craft project with the kids. If you have a baby or toddler like me, spending a lot of time preparing a craft isn’t always possible, here is a fun and very easy DIY craft idea you can make this Father’s Day.
For this craft, you will not need to buy any fancy supplies, everything you will need you probably already have on hand.
You can turn this Father’s Day craft into a Father’s Day Card, frame it, or simply make it on a canvas, instead of paper.
This post is all about an easy Father’s Day craft that you can make with your baby or toddler.
Easy Father’s Day Craft
What you need:
- Paper
- Paint
- Washi Tape or regular tape
- Q-Tip/Paint Brush or Sponge
You can have your toddler pick out his or her favorite paint colors and place them on a paper plate. We used Q-Tips for this craft but feel free to use regular paintbrushes or little sponges.
I folded the sheet of paper so we can use this craft as a Father’s Day Card. Start by outlining the message for Dad with Washi Tape or regular tape. I outlined “I LOVE DAD” on the front of the card. You can also create a heart or anything else you can think of with the tape.
Once the tape is in place it’s time for your baby or toddler to start painting. My girls had a ton of fun, mixing the colors and painting over the washi tape.
Once your child is done painting, let the craft sit for a few hours and peel the tape once everything is dry.
Super easy and fun, isn’t it!? I hope your kid, preschooler, or baby will enjoy this Father’s Day Craft Idea, and Dad of course too.
