Looking for an easy and fun Fall Craft for your toddlers? This Paper Plate Craft is very easy to make and doesn’t require a lot of supplies.
Paper Plate Crafts are such a fun and inexpensive Craft Idea for the kids. I always have paper plates in my house and sometimes just hand them to my kids to get creative with them. Today I’m going to show you how to make a super easy and simple Fall Craft made out of a Paper Plate. We are making a cute Fox today, but feel free to make it into whatever animal your kids like.
This post is all about a Fun Fall Craft for Toddlers.
Fun Fall Craft for Toddlers
What you need:
- Piece of Paper
- Paper Plate
- Orange, Black, and White Tape
- Paint Brushes
- Glue
I like to use an extra paper plate just to put the paint on, since it’s thick I know it won’t go through if my kids press too hard on the paint with the paintbrushes.
First step is to paint the whole Paper Plate orange, using a paint brush. Once the paint has dried a little bit, fold over two small sides and glue it. If you fold it while the paint is still wet, you don’t need to glue it at all, the paint will hold it together.
Next up we are making the foxes’ ears, whiskers and nose. I just simply drew these on a sheet of white paper and then cut them out for my daughter. Depending on your childs age, they might be able to cut it out themselves. My daughter is 4 and I did this part for her so she could paint it and then glue it on to the paper plate.
Time for the final painting. Paint the ears, whiskers, and eyes onto the paper plate. Once the ears and, whiskers and nose are dry, they can be glued onto the foxes’ head.
And there you have it, a fun Fox made out of a Paper Plate. Super fun and easy, wasn’t it!? I hope your child will enjoy crafting this.
